The chair...

Today's topic is about a chair. Who knows tat an inanimate object like a chair can bring so much laughter to a place n change a perception of someone.

I was just coming in to d office after hanging up the phone (was on d phone with my dearest mom), when i saw Ms. Arlini moving a chair around the office. With her were Mr. Philip n Ms. Veni. So, i don't really know how it started. They said it was because of Ms. Veni who asked around about her missing chair.

Anyways, the funniest part was watching 2 grown ups (1 of them even look serious n strict) fighting over a chair.

"this is my chair", said both of them.
"nope this is my chair. Tat 1 over there is yours", was their reply.

Even the HOD was involved in this issue. She carried a chair n offered it to them but none accepted the chair at 1st. Both said tat their butt is too big for them to sit on tat new chair. Well, according to Mr. Philip "hey, I'm doing u guys a favour. If I x accept this chair, they'll bring a new 1 in." Hehehe...good idea Mr. Philip, but I x think so. It ended up with Ms. Arlini promised them tat she will try to ask for a new chair yet she did not promise tat the request might not be entertained.

It was so funny... Well, this drama really proves tat even though u r old n look fierce n strict on d outside, u can still be a little child on d inside. My only wish was tat I had snap a video of d drama over a chair for u to witness how childish can a grown up be...

This is the chair tat was one belong to Mr. Philip. I am sitting on it now. He did not want it back because he said tat it is smelly now tat I am sitting on it...haish...

Erm...UCSI University has 3 campuses; KL, Terengganu n Sarawak. I have had the chance to work in 2 (technically 3) campuses; Terengganu n KL (both North n South wing). Working with the group, not so called group and working directly under the university

At d moment I am working at KL Campus (the South wing). It's kinda weird to be in the not so new place. Well, I've never really actually work in this campus before but I had been to this campus for several times on business purposes. The weirdest part is I have met quite a number of people (colleagues n students) that I know, mostly from my other two campuses in just my first week of working here.

At 1st, I do not want to transfer here, I wanted to quit. I mean, working with the same company again... but after being persuaded by my dean n after pondering for a long time I realise I need a job since I need money.
The department where I am now is the English Department. I am still wondering what am I doing here n wat can I contribute to this department. Luckily, I have colleagues tat is supportive n very helpful. The boss...so far not tat bad, very motherly.

Being here made me realise tat supportive n helpful people still do exist in this world...

I still miss my boys n girls in Terengganu, not to be forgotten my dearest friends there; my Terengganu family... Hope to see them soon...

I have a cubicle now...n it's not messy yet...hehehe...

Me, friends, students n Bukit Khor...

It has been ages since I last update my blog (sorry bout that). I think I should start re-blogging again. To start of, let me tell you bout my experience at my new university (well, not really new though. I'm still working at UCSI University just like I have for the last 1 n a half years but now I'm no longer in KL, I am now in KT) with my new bunch of students and lecturers (crazy n happening bunch of people).

Before, Bukit Khor is only known for its population of 5 but as off May the 3rd, 2010, the population increase to 20 (I guess. M so poor in math u see, that's y I'm an English teacher... ;p ). we have a more rainbow-ish life now. There's nothing much to do here (true enough). However, it doesn't mean that we can't have fun... Thanks to the students, almost each of our weekends are filled with hustle and bustle (going places and not to be forgotten to babysit about 15 5 year old aka our beloved students). Last weekend (June 3rd, 2010), we went to Mesra Mall for a tournament of bowling (for the students, they also had to do some assignments related to their course). yay... (but pity ya all for having to do assignments too.hehe...)!!!

Before, we didn't know that there's actually a mall in Terengganu, a big one (I thought there are only mydin n giant...sigh... I was stunt for a while when I first put my feet in the mall).

Anyway, the day started off with us convoying from UCSI University (our beloved university). Erm... it was a very long journey (we're talking bout 2 hours journey people). This journey really proof that men are difficult to understand (they tend to do things that they are not suppose to do rather than things that they are suppose to do. They, who happen to be the driver for the day, were speeding n over-taking at a very narrow road; a one lane road but when they arrived at a two lane road, suddenly the slowed down n tone down a bit). ya...ya... it's all bout the adrenaline... well, if u wanna die, don't die in front of me k...

Thanks to god, after all the heart attacks I had on the road, we managed to arrived at mesra mall safely (fuh...). We went on tour (or rather a shopping spree) first. We had doughnuts at big apple (yummy...yummy...yummy...). Thanks Johan but i still hate u... (hehe...) ;p

As usual, Johan is giving instruction (or was it instructions?) to everyone (not an unusual sight. trust me...)

She's cute, ain't she?
(the little one i mean. the other one, well...she is erm...)

After friday prayer, the war began, the bowling alley went under siege (hahaha...). Poor OP, although he was wearing t-shirt that says 'we can do it', but not for him since he is now an OPKU (orang putih kurang upaya...hehe...). We managed to take over the bowling alley for about an hour, the war ended with Yusuf as the winner, followed by Uncle Ajib n Ali (me? hehe...don't ask...)

Sabah style... don't play the fool...

Ceh... ada aku kisah...? ;p

Action lah u OP.... ^_^

Before enduring torture of going back to Bukit Khor (convoying with them can be... erm...), we went to fill our stomach (some went to the food court, others went to Burger King).

The Kings of Bukit Khor.. muahkahkah....

It was a very...very...fun day....lol n xoxo to all.... Ta.....
